The Why
I lost my father in 2023. My siblings and I came together to take care of all the things, big and small, that my father was managing for my mother.
It has not been easy.
We found ourselves juggling countless tasks: communicating with agencies, managing paperwork, staying on top of taxes and bills, and ensuring our mother’s care was coordinated—all while trying to balance our own lives, careers, and families. It felt like a second full-time job.
This experience showed us how complex, challenging and time-consuming senior care management can be for families already stretched thin. I discovered that there are over 38 million caregivers in America who face similar, if not more difficult, situations every day.
I drew on my 20+ years of in-depth hands-on technical experience to create Sunlit Live. I am passionate about bringing ease to family senior care management and preserving family relationships.
